Michael Ingram, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Southern California. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of California, Davis Medical Center and his residency in cardiovascular surgery at the Texas Heart Institute under Dr. Denton A. Cooley. Dr. Ingram was fellowship trained in cardiovascular surgery at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento and University of California, Davis Medical Center.

Dr. Ingram is board certified in both thoracic and vascular surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Ingram specializes in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery, including: heart transplantation, ventricular assist devices and minimally invasive surgery. He performs lung surgery, carotid surgery and abdominal aneurysm surgery.

His professional interests include valve repair and replacement, coronary bypass with endoscopic technology, and surgical repair and replacement of the great vessels.
